Giants injury report: Kadarius Toney hurt again; Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari updates aren’t promising

Giants coach Brian Daboll said before Thursday’s practice that his team’s injury report would be identical to Wednesday’s.

Which means it appears outside linebackers Kayvon Thibodeaux (sprained MCL) and Azeez Ojulari (calf) could be sidelined for a second straight game

Following practice, wide receiver Kadarius Toney was added to the list of limited participants with a hamstring injury.

Toney only participated in seven snaps during the Giants’ opener against Tennessee and has clearly fallen behind veteran Sterling Shepard on the depth chart after holding one of the starter jobs throughout the preseason.

As for Thibodeaux, he said after Thursday’s practice he is “really confident” he will play this week.

The locker room had already closed Thursday when news of Toney’s injury was released.
